In our Konkan tour package you travel by cab via the Tamhini or Mahad ghat to the coast. Day one reaches Dapoli and Ladghar or Karde beach. Day two covers Murud, Harnai port, Suvarnadurg Fort and the Keshavraj temple. Day three takes you to Harihareshwar and Diveagar for beach time and the Dive Aagar Suvarna Ganesh temple before returning home.
The ghat sections need an experienced driver, particularly in rain, and we assign drivers who know these roads. October to May is the best time to visit. From Pune to Dapoli is around 220 km, taking 5.5 to 6 hours through the Tamhini or Mahad ghat. Starting by 6 AM allows you to reach the coast in time for lunch and an evening beach visit.
